First service price around surrey?
I have joined the permagrin club with a fabulous 6 month old diesel S, which will need its first service in a couple of months. I have found this site very useful.
I phoned around today, and the prices, including VAT for a TDV6 D3 ranged from £314 at Harwoods Croydon and £363 at Guy Salmon in Thames Ditton to a whopping £484 at Hunters Guidford, and £535 at Stratstone, Heathrow. I saw question in another post, but missed replies, has anyone found a sub-£300 service in the south east? Am seriously tempted to head west, where reported prices are much lower, especially if I can get it done over a weekend!? [/quote]Don't put it off, go for it!

£285 all in, @ Lancaster,Reading. Incidentally dealer I bought from quoted £450. They obviously don't need the business, and aren't gonna get mine.

Just booked mine at Harwoods, Croydon. Initial price was slightly high, but just mentioned the lower price at Lancaster Reading and was offered £300. They told me (without my asking) that they'd do the software enhancement, and that the loan car would be available for 3 days (as its over a weekend). Also offered to pick it up and deliver it. Great service - Lookers Hadleigh, you've got a lot to learn

Portsmouth area service?
Does anyone have good experience and price for service around Portsmouth-Southampton area, as I go that way from Surrey from time to time, and the Guidford dealer was not welcoming?
