Sure thing.
It'll be cold and smelly by the time you get it though.

I wish for help with faultmate: To Baben
My D3 is an accident rebuild (front end damage) after rebuilding the body i sort help from a friend to restore engine and electricals. Now one last problem remains which is a POWER TRAIN CONTROL MODULE is faulty NB.i have no idea what type of diagnostic computer he was using.I was thinking maybe the BLACK BOX aka FAULT MATE could be brought in to diagnose, flush and re-programme the ECU before we render it absolete.
I would prefer to arrenge a one to one talk with the guy if you do not mind so that he can give you a detailled picture of the problem.
Also where can i source a used or cheaper Power Train Control ECU.

DON'T get a used PCM, they can only be programmed with one VIN, if it is truly fried, you'll need a new one not secondhand

Hello TFC and thanks for the advice
10FC is the expert when it comes to repairs. I can perhaps assist with diagnosis, but thats as far as it goes.
Tinto, send me a PM with your number on and we can chat. I need an excuse to come to Gabs Hell maybe we can entice 10FC down for a visit ?
If we can get together, we can check out the problem, see if we can figure out what is causing it, and then we can chat to 10 and see what the fix would be

Done deal - PM sent
Folks, the TorqTune special continues into November due to popularity.
Prices still too embarrasingly low to publish on an open forum, but suffice to say NOBODY can match them, not even the cheapest guys in the back pages of "Car" magazine
Bring me your TD4, TD5, TDV6, TDV8, Polo 1.9, C220, etc. etc. - if its a TurboDiesel we can breathe new life into it

Hey Jaco - a pleasure to meet you and your lady friend. Apologies for the actions of our neighbourhood "ritters van die koeltebome" R150 for 56 in a 40 zone is quite hectic! Will have a friendly chat over a beer, and get it all sorted out X

Thats good - it will be interesting to see if you eveer get that suspension fault again.
The diff story is an interesting one. Apparently my front diff has been weeping for some time now, and maybe if I turn down the music i imagine I might be able to hear a whine from time to time. LR wanted to replace it some time ago, but I am not convinced it is broken enough yet. I fear that this may lead to other issues developing, so would rather leave it alone.
