New 2010 Models at Canary Wharf MotorExpo - 8-14 June
Just had an email;
It gives us great pleasure to invite you to the 2009 Canary Wharf Motorexpo, to see the UK debut of our all-new range.
This free event is a great opportunity for you to explore our 2010 vehicles, including the new Discovery 4, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover. You’ll discover a whole host of enhancements, from refined body styling and luxurious new interiors to our most advanced in-car technology ever.
You can also put our intelligent Stop/Start system through its paces in the new 2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e. Or, for a taste of ‘off-roading’ in the heart of the city, why not join one of our driving experts as they tackle a series of demanding obstacles on our all-terrain Terrapod?
The 2009 Canary Wharf Motorexpo runs from 8th-14th June, so be sure to get the dates in your diary now. We look forward to seeing you there.
Might be able to get down and get No 1 son to buy me lunch as he works down on the wharf...

Better yet, wear your D3 Hivis jacket and make it official. Crawl all over in with a tape measure in hand !
Also if possible, bring a set of your xenons and see f the swap in with the D4s, that way we'll know if the new lights will fit ointo our 'old' yokes A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.

the main techy guy at my dealer is off on a course/breifing as well. They also say they they dont expect the D4 to be released when LR say. in 16 years at the dealer he hasnt known any model to be released on time !!
Apparently they arranged an evening reception and meal to celebrate the new FFRR and the first delivery didnt arrive until half way through the dessert course Duncan

If I'd known I was going to be so thirsty this morning I'd have drunk more beer last night.

8 - 14th .............Typical
I am booked into a Canary Wharf Hotel this weekend the 5 - 7th, so near but yet so far I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

If I could get there I'd see if 18" rims would fit over the 3.0 brakes - if not shown on the tyre placard then look for a helf-inch gap between the callipers and rims.
