Every morning found the back end of D3 on the floor. No faults or suspension warnings, started it up and it went back to normal height. Didn't get round to taking it to the dealers.
Sufferered Suspension fault - loss of special programmes and D3 dropped to the floor several times on the M5 last Thursday. Twice had to go to hard shoulder, switch off and cycle.
Took it to Hunters Derby, Friday for them to take a look. A coffee and a read of the paper for 30 mins and it was revealed to be the Front offside height sensor faulty !!! Go figure, gievn that it was the back end dropping all the time.
They suggested it wasn't a good idea to drive mine over the weekend so got a loaner RRS HSE (yeeearch) for the weekend and got the D3 delivered back to me all fixed and nice and clean yesterday.
Simple, no fuss, no aggro. NICE Wot's that in Old Money

I wasn't happy with the braking of our D3 so had new shoes and discs replaced but whilst on test drive my friendly local mechanic advised me to ring my LR Dealer as he thought the Vacuum pump/servo had gone - (and probably needed top and bottom track rod ends too) big job! LRA duly took our latest addition off on a low loader to Hunters in Derby
Hunters replaced the master cylinder, vacuum, 2 new pipes etc and also replaced top and bottom track rod ends/steering joints whilst they were at it.... the funny thing was, they did all that work under warranty but wanted to bring my attention to the fact that I needed 2 new wiper blades.....ah bless.... given that they did all the work under warranty and also replaced the rear tail gate cable which had got snarled up - the least I could do was pay £40 incl labour to replace the blades....oh And they washed it too!
Can't complain at all (forgot to mention - also had a lovely HSE to drive for 2 days whilst she was in!)
