What can I say?
Absolutly brilliant!!! Dealt with Douglas who spent all his time making sure everything went as smooth as possible for ME. Originally booked in for 75k service, which turned out to be far more work than expected, pads all round and front discs, all tyres had worn unevenly due to suspension geometery, so new tyres and geometry re set, new fuel tank due to the fuel tank mouse eating problem that LR will not accept as a common fault and list as a recall.
All in all they had my vehicle for 3 days and I had their 09 plate courtesy D3 for my short (ha ha) visit to my daughters.
Will definately be re visiting Yeovil Land Rover again.
Also met Al (No Do$h) who was picking up various items ordered through Nick (TLO) - nice to have met you Al Women are like swimming pools, very expensive for the amount of time you spend in them!

My insurance (NFU) paid up for this, less excess, so if you haven't claimed, it may be worth considering such. Hoping that the copper grease smeared on the tasty bit of the replacement will prevent a repeat performance. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

A guy from LR came to see me last week on an unrelated issue...I showed him the tank connector and he was dumbfounded
He did say when he gets a chance he is to see an engineer to see if they will find out what the connector is made of and why it seems to be so addictive
By the way...good news on the insurance Lex TLO has left the building.......

Nice to meet you Vic, sorry I wasn't able to stick around for a longer chat, but only just made my hospital appointment over in Southampton by the skin of my teeth.
SE meet tomorrow if you fancy nipping along? Fairmile in Cobham I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
