This one would be in the Netherlands.
Cash situation remains the same but you will be getting a LHD car Smile assume that's what you want...

I understand that the e-diff activation is not user selectable, i.e. you can't just press a button to engage the e-diff.

So exactly how does it know when it is needed?

Depending on the terrain mode setting it is activated. Then it uses the sterring angle info, traction controll info etc.
I think it is most effective in slow off-roading like rock crawling etc.

I have it and I like it.

I’ve been looking at used D3 stock at Land Rover dealers the last few days. I was in a HSE today ,looked at the info screen is showed the drive train layout with a RED lock over the rear axel and over the gear box is this standard or dose this mean it has the rear diff lock??
Thanks

If it was locked the rear active diff is fitted, presumably you were driving at the time in a TR mode other than normal road?

Hi Slimer thanks for the reply...
To be honest I’m not 100% sure what mode the Land Rover was in as I’m not converse with the system yet . The Land Rover was parked up I was sat in the drivers seat with the engine running after a test drive. I asked if it had the rear diff lock ?,and the dealer didn’t know. He then flicked through the modes to try to find out it had rear diff lock. The info screen showed the drive lay out with the two locks over the axel etc I guess they all must have this then? (as it the first HSE I’ve sat in)
Dealer said he would find out for Monday However I have found them not to be 100% accurate IMO

Well don't trust the dealer too much on it.
When I bought my car the dealer did not mention the mudflaps and rear diff but did say I have roof rails - which I don't. And yes it was an LR dealer. Let's just say there are salespeople and salespeople.
