GPS AU My VMS has tracked the trip and once I work out hot to get it onto my laptop I will post. I does include the wrong turns too.

I am actually wondering (because I haven't googled it yet) whether there is a site which such trip maps already available for 4wd drivers to take advantage of....

If not I probably would consider putting one up...

I would hate to see these being used by idiots - ruining perfectly good tracks.

We have some good footage of the trip especially the last rock step. Ian will put together a DVD and we may even post some on UTube. That will happen when I get back from OS in a fortnight.
Dont know wheter we should keep the shot with 7 empty reds on the table

Wayne dropped a DVD in the post with about 70-80 photos and a few short vids of the day..Hopefully it should be with you either tomorrow or early next week

First draft of the video is done and final due for release in next 2 weeks. We will upload some parts onto the Disco3 site and youTube. When it is finished I will pm participants and send out a copy.

Had a great drive yesterday up in the Lithgow / Hampton area, the other guys where amazed at how easily the D3 drove anything challenging, yes it does lift wheels but keeps going. Two Patrols one with 33" Muddies one the standard tyres, a 80's with 33" Muddies and a Series 2 Disco with standard tyres.
The two cars with standard tyres had real trouble! In some spots I drove up easier than the Muddie equipped cars due to my eDiff.
