Fitting front parking sensors

Hi

Im would like to add front parking sensors to my D3 XS. Just called land rover who said that this is probably just an option when you build your car from new! Is this correct? Surely these can be retrofitted. I can see the blank button on the dash where the front parking button would go - LR would put that there if you could then add the front sensors?

Any ideas
