Any recomendations on finance? |
|
I was looking to replace my RRS with a 1 year old Disco3 HSE, but my bank wont give me any resonable finance on a used vehicle (balloon too low) and finance on new is cheaper!
Therefore, can anyone recommend any finance house that would offer good rates on a used vehicle (purchase price of approx £36k). I'm a VAT registered business, so would be looking at many methods of finance. Matt

Matt, just looking at this old post and thinking about a conversation I had previously with gasovitch and today with Ken.
I'm not yet VAT registered although I could volunteer I suppose.
If you get the time could you give me pointers on what you mean please?
pm will do if it's sensitive. regards

Tony if you are VAT registered and you lease a car the VAT element of your monthly payment can be reclaimed, if you bought the car out right you could not reclaim the VAT on a non commercial vehicle. What you need to look at is the total cost of buying the car across the time you have it. Taking interest into account it could be better to buy the car outright. You really need to speak to a car finance broker.
A friend has used this company in the past http://www.eagle-oakstats.co.uk/, but make sure they are looking for the best products not just using one finance company. DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone
