Combination of Winch/A-Bar/Xtra lights......
All, I need your help on this issue..
The pictures you see are of my D3.
Can anyone tell me if this is correctly assembled by the dealer. I seem to remember having seen the lights mounted "upside down" without any cutting in the A-Bar..also with a winch! I asked the dealer and he's gonna check this out....he remembers the "body-shop guys" claiming the three items (Winch/A-Bar/Lights) where difficult to combine...
I know they haven't mounted this combination before....
Are there several possible combinations (different types of lights?)
Any toughts on this are appreciated...

Ohh definately not right that if done by a dealer.
The spot lights should hang upside down from the top underside of the A-bar. There are mounts under there. I would go back to the dealer and tell them to fit it correctly and replace the A-bar. POT NOODLE NAVIGATION CHALLENGE 2010 WINNER

If an A Bar fitted, they should hang like this
It seems they may have used the wrong fitting kit, the bumper kit that comprises of posts that fit onto the inner bumper
They have also ruined your A Bar by cutting those in
not right and you cannot have a Land Rover Winch mount on it has to be Hidden behind the bumper you need to get in touch with Cold &Wet on the site he will put you right i do the Hidden winch mount and sump platsHome of RLD Hidden winch mounts Spare wheel Locks Trailer Body Fabrication [email protected] D3/4 sump plates MY 14 sump plates and the Discovery Sport wheel protectors Discovery 5 wheel locks

OMG!!!!!
Your dealer is having a laugh!! Can they not get access to the publicly available fitting instructions!!!!!!
That's gonna be an expensive mistake for your dealer!!
Don't accept it as it is!!Bodsys Brake Bible
Ooops - is there an award for the most obvious dealer F****-up !!!!
When the D2 came out, my local dealership cut into the rear seat backs to fit a dog-guard. Then realised it fitted perfectly well if you turned it round so the little label saying front was errrr - facing the front ! Now that one was expensive "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

beggers belief that they could fit it all that way. To sort that out it will need a New A Bar, and the proper Brackets.
Give them some credit though, they managed to cut the A Bar nice n neatly, no fraying of the rubber.

Does make you think whether the A Bar Brackets have been fitted too, along with the brace clips
Did they use a winch compatible A-bar or cut the bottom bar out of a non-winch one?
Not that it makes a lot of difference as they're going to have to replace it when they fit the lights correctly, just make sure they use the right one next time The End

Congrats to your dealer for trashing your A-Bar and your Front Bumper Cover in what must rank as the biggest f*** up I think I've ever seen on a D3 by a dealer

I'd ask your dealer for a discount or some other concession for the time you're wasting to have to figure this all out. I can't believe they messed it up that bad.16 D4 Landmark

Just remembered the cutting into the bumper that SN pointed out make sure that they rectify that as well. Hmm won;t be cheap for the dealer to sort all that out.POT NOODLE NAVIGATION CHALLENGE 2010 WINNER
