Ground Anchors

Anyone got experience of decent ground anchors?
I've seen a foldaway one but it looks a bit weedy and has too many moving parts for my liking
There are some more rigid types but I think they'd take up the majority of the boot space
The rail & pin type are good and don't take up too much space, however, they take a long time to deploy & recover

Any suggestions? Wink

AndrewS has plenty and so has Slimer !

Andrew's worked magnificently helping Slimer pull him self out of a rather slippery and potentially bad situation.

Can't find anything as robust in UK, any idea of a supplier?

I will bring my ground anchor on the 26th, give you the keys to my 110 as it has a winch and you can have a play. Laughing I have the PRT one at this address http://www.scorpionracing.co.uk/
In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

500$ that's the price for the heaviest

What are you saing about the pins working better in the sand?
Can you explain that?

I want the anchor for in the sand, as on mud,9/10 you'll find a solid tree
(I got stuck on the Corsican beach, and don't want that again Wink )
