I picked up my D4 (TDV6 3.0 HSE) in Rimini Red + Black interior first thing on the 1st Sept at 8am, so I'm probably one of the first if not the first
BTW: Order not complete due to missing/delayed electrics for the towbar, and there seems to be an issue with the iPOD lead also, but I've been informed that these aren't too for away
The D4 is pretty amazing, apart from one point that I'd missed that it no longer comes with headlights that look around corners, like previously, but instead now has the auto-mainbeam function which is well weird - it will take some getting used to.

Come now, Mr. Shrinkster, you've asked that question elsewhere and it has been answered in the affirmative....

Thanks Pelyma,
I've always been here, and check most days. I prefer to lurk rather than to participate though

So far I'm very impressed by the D4, especially the responsiveness of the 3ltr Engine.
The owners handbook suggests keeping it under 3000rpm whilst running in, but believe me it pulls well up to 3000rpm with the associated acceleration, that for most that it more than sufficient. It will be interesting once I have the towbar fitted (when the electrics eventually becomes available) to see how well it pulls a trailer (which I'm expecting to be very good).
Everyone who has been inside the D4 are more than impressed by the fittings, the opulence and feel of the new seats plus the feel of the switches and just love the LED subtle lighting.
The only point that I'm just a little disappointed about, especially since I had assumed that it came as default like the previous HSE was the headlights that look around the corner. If I'd have noted this I would have probably (but believe that they should have been included as default anyway!!) have added these as an option.
If anyone hasn't placed an order yet, book a test drive and you definitely won't be disappointed.

Congrats Big Al!
Wish you enjoy every single mile in it!
I presume we will all be waiting for some pics (especially the ebony interior). 8)
