Never mind the 2 steak and chips for £10 offer at the Fairmile - passed a pub not far from Hogmoor this evening advertising a 6oz steak and chips for £2.99p and thought of you Neil! Yes it is Andy, although the damage went right the way across the bumper. The strop wedged it self between the bumper and door . Someone will be posting the video. It went with such violence. Surprised they tried that method to recover. I said to one of the marshalls it wouldn't work The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

Yes. Imagine the damage it would have done to someone standing in its way!
It was brand new but only rated at 8 ton - ok as a kinetic strap for recovering D1s and Suzukis perhaps but not a securely wedged D3Clubs Mantec, Tasmods, LEDS, AT2s on 18s, Maxxis Bighorns on 17s, Remote FBH, BAS. Bloody 'ell lucky nobody was standing close. Was he trying to break the guiness record for the fastest recovery?
Any damage to Stu's car? Hopefully not

Could have been lethal if it went through a back window. Fortunately it didn't Only damage was to the disco towing it out.Global Warming.... I'm luvvin it
No, no damage to Stu's car. Shame about the D2 though.
First off they had tried to winch him out forwards, but Wilma wouldn't budge. Not sure what the winch was rated at, either it was fooked or just not big enough. They eventually got Stu out with a dual winch pull from behind. The whole recovery took nearly an hour.
Wilma was well and truly stuck. It was beached on a bed of sand/silt, none of the wheels were in contact with the ground. The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.
