Does anyone know what the most popular / least popular colours are?
Autotrader seems to have roughly the following D3s for sale:
Black: 247
Silver: 232
Blue: 176
Grey: 148
Green: 66
Plus a few 'others'.
This gives some clue, but there are multiple blues etc.
I'm currently thinking Stornoway, or maybe one of the darker blues. Also the bronze looks quite nice - but could I really buy a 'brown' car??
What colour would / have you chose(n)?? D4 XS MY12 Galway

Have silver, like it, but there are a lot around (or was that the point?!)
Looked at D4 today. SWMBO-junior says if I must have leather seats, they must be black, but that I can't have black interior and a black car, so could be silver again... I liked the black though!

I have a silver D3, so looking for a change.
Quite like the black - but too many around - too 'now' (or at least too 2007/8 ) - so want to choose one of the others! D4 XS MY12 Galway

Well, I've gone for Bali Blue, mainly as it was sitting there in the showroom, purring away at me and saying "buy me, buy me"
Blue wouldn't have been my first colour had I chosen one from scratch, but the more I see it, the more it grows on me. A new colour in the range so therefore, there won't be dozens upon dozens of them going about. I have Bonnetti Grey in my D3 - tis ok with the tinted windows. However, so many grey, silver and black ones going around, I think folk will be looking for something different. If in doot, flat oot!!

Alternatively if that's the colour you like best buy it in that colour, when it comes to selling it on the colour makes no more than few £100 difference anyway. If your colour choice is based on what will be easiest to sell you might as well just let the dealer choose How about buying a vehicle based on what you want/like, not what you think whoever has it next will want The End

When i bought in January there was som Artic Frosts going for significantly less (not just a few 100 quid) than the usual more boring colour choices....
however seen a FFRR in the sand and it looked very nice and someone paid 60-70k for that..
i don't think the new bronze colour falls into that category..the other day saw a Keswick green HSE for sale now that is rare.. Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

Colour is just a matter of personal taste...
My choice is Stornoway
I've seen Lago Gray for the Freelander II, and I wish that LR would do that for the D4 as well. It's sth between stornoway and black with a hint of blue. Great colour! I would dare to say that it's a good time for LR to add some more modern colours in their repertoire, I've seen some very nice ones from German manufactures grays mostly with blue or brown tones.

Lago grey sounds good - but not much use as it's not an option!!
What does anyone think of Teal? Am I right thinking there's a new version coming out? D4 XS MY12 Galway

Two versions of Teal in the LR site:exterior colours. Which one are you talking about ac? ALthough I'm afraid that the site colours are way far from reality. Any ideas of where someone could find photos of D3/D4's at various colours? Maybe AndrewS could take a pic of each one of them during his visit to the factory! (I wish I could be there with you mate )
BTW anyone seen Bournville in flesh? Opinions?

A couple of months back, I parked next to an 09MY D3 in Ludlow. It was a light dusty green colour (which I assume was Keswick Green?) - only one I've ever seen in that colour and I thought it looked really good. When you look at the colour on the dealer's colour swatch you'd think, "never in a million years"...!
