B.A.S.

Had a nice surprise this week for my birthday. The mrs organised a BAS remap box from Pete. She does listen to me sometimes, not always, but she obviously had this one on the back burner for a little while.

anyway, kudos to Pete. Very helpful over the phone, tried a few variations on the map, but went back to the original ECO map as my set-up.

Smoooooth is not the word, overtakes are now a joy and getting 29mpg on a run with MTR's on Thumbs Up Low down torque makes quick (for a 3tonne car) get-aways and find myself not using 'sport' now as the flexibility in normal 'D' is top notch.

All in all, a very good birthday pressie. Mr. Green

As I keep saying, it's not a question of whether to remap or not, it's a question of which one!!! Mr. Green Mr. Green Mr. Green

Agreed, the D3 is more usable/responsive and enjoyable once you remap. Its like a totally new car. Thumbs Up

Yip

Most impressed. I ran the extreme map and was Shocked at what the D3 was able to do, but that's not for me. If I wanted to have a car that goes like the clappers, I would not have bought a D3. For me the mix of drivability, smoothness and low down grunt is Thumbs Up and makes the D3 a lot better.
