Bang from rear when turnig left

Hi

A couple of weeks ago I started getting a noise when I turn left only. It sounds like something banging underneath the car at the rear. It is a single noise and is inconsistent in loudness and a lot of the time it doesn't happen at all. I have recently had a software upgrade at LR dealer and they did a visual check and could not see anything loose. The EPB has also just failed but I don't think this will cause this noise, just coincidence.

Any ideas?

this may sound adft but have you looked in the little hatches where the jack etc are stored? could be something swinging out from the plastic when you turn left only.

if the stealer has checked underneath etc...

checked the toolkit, wife suggested spare wheel, both ok. didn't do it at al today until got called out to work and did it once with a big bang in 70 mile journey. still puzzled? Neutral

Hasn't happened in the last couple of weeks now. Read another post on here that mentioned counterbalnce weights under the bumper. What/where are they?

Look under each corner of the rear bumper and you should see them.

They should swing free and not foul on anything. Have been known to foul tow bar electrics.
