Ordered on Saturday - Bali blue |
|
Well I've gone and dunnit!
3.0TDV6 HSE in Bali Blue with Ebony
Privacy Glass
Sorround camera
Active headlamps
20 inch alloys
Centre console chiller box
Park heating
Heated steering wheel
RSE + TV
Tow pack
Two things to note. You can't order RSE and active diff so I decided that it would be best to have the kids entertained whilst being stuck. Secondly adding surround cameras adds a month delay as the first kits are being fitted to FFRR and they don't have enough to go round. I think they've got someone watching Ebay for some to come up from China.
Should be with me 3rd week October.

I think it's all got to do with the vehicle total weight. If the maximum is exceeded (something near 3tn) , then the 'car' moves into the 'truck' category , which is not allowed, or at least needs a different kind of license!

You've got it spot on promitheus. The mad thing is that you could order with a diff and then retro fit RSE. The problem is that retro fit RSE is pants compared with the factory system. I won't be doing a lot of off-roading in this one, I am keeping the old one for that. I'm more concerned about snow but I guess the right tyres are more important for that.

Ask em if they will weigh the wife, and then fit the diff you sign to say you will leave her at home?

Rear diff is not really that crucial if you know what you're doing.

What is RSE? LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Rear Seat Entertainment I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.
