working ok for me, must be an issue on your system.
What browser are you using ? If your not already using chrome then go get it and try again.

not working for me and I have tried IE8, Firefox, Chrome, Opera (prefer IE8) and different PCs on my network - all with the same result.
Oh and all cookies etc have all been deleted.

Hmm that is strange if it is effecting multiple pc's on your network.
Have you done:
logout of disco3.
delete all internet cache from IE.
reset IE back to factory.
login and try again.

an update on this
If I read each new post under a category (eg general) then when I go back to the main page of this category the posts are correctly marked as read but on the home page it still say's that there are new posts in this category when there are not.1996 Discovery 1 300TDI ES Biarritz Blue, sold

Sorry, probably a bug in the system somewhere Unless it's to do with the modification I applied and was told not to remove...
As I can't sort it without pulling the whole software apart to trace the fault and gather data from loads of people then if it's not stopping you using the site and is more of a niggle then at the minute it doesn't make sense to fix 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
Any issues with the site let me know!

Just installed Chrome and having the same problem. If I use IE8 on the same pc, no problem.
EDIT: After using IE8 and NOT getting the problem, Chrome seems to be behaving itself now. RTFM fault I guess I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
