The signal on Dave driving through Cheltenham was pretty good. A few times it dropped out but there were a few blocks of flats around.
I have a 40min drive home from work so I will try it again tonight Global Warming.... I'm luvvin it

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but when I get into the diagnostic mode screen, I don't have a "TV" button...just lots of "xxx Test" buttons etc
Am I being dumb?

You need to press video input test button
Then tv/dvd ....
The big black button not the small one underneath
Then the pal /ntsc button ...you can also increase the picture size with the wide buttonG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

You cant do any damage with those screens ...there are others that you can though G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Just tried mine, all I get is a black screen?
This IS on a D3 not a D4 I assume?
I've just sat in my drive trying it but no TV

The code works for me but rear camera tv etc are all shown as not fitted.
As I have said before the Chinese ones Satnav is wired different (can't be accessed by screen only hard button)
So no TV on the go for me
the only useful benifit I get is I can check the battery voltage. and read a few fault code explanationsIt is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.
