Cleaning and Sureguard etc?!?!?!
Whils ordering my D4 the dealer offered me a package for pre delievery application to protect interior and exterior of the car. at a price over 300 quid i was less than interested.
However this did give me an idea to look at. Having used autoglym products for the last few years i went onto ebay and found a PDI delievery kit which contains the solutions for what the dealer offered at 300. ok you need to apply it yourself and dont get the warrenty but the product is very simmilar. I got this kit for 6 pound plus postage. So when i collect the car just a couple of hours and job done.
A worthwile investment i think. You even get a window sticker
Also have you seen the vids of the HD wax on you tube. will be slapping some of that ontop too.350miles and cant wait to do more.

As long as you're happy to apply whatever protectant yourself, then yes, I'd save themoney personally
Either way, you just need to ensure you top it up regularly to keep it looking good Bodsys Brake Bible

I've taken your advice pedders and ordered both the PDI kit and the HD Wax - both off ebay. A bit of the old elbow grease and the D4 will be all set for winter!Paul

I can confirm that the actual kit that is supplied to my local dealer cost £25 and that includes the outer paint protection spray and the fabric protection spray.
I got a kit from the supplier of these products and managed to do not only my D4 but my wife's 4x4 as well out of the one can!!
Warranty as well, so long as you wash the car with PH nuetral products.

Just an update.
This kit has worked well with good results. However the HD wax is amazing. The water beeds of the car when it rains and so does the dirt. Use it on the wheels to and they will look good for ages.
I will see how long it lasts for but i think if you keep it thick will keep the car looking new for years.350miles and cant wait to do more.

Landylad - have some sympathy for your poor local dealer trying to earn a crust after all, the P&J had a report on Saturday about the holding company for a certain NE LR dealer making a loss last year http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.aspx/1462341

I've just had my car valet man apply the full AutoGlym Lifeshine kit for £45 - so £6 for the kit and £45 for applying it.
