AutoExpress - Driver Power Survey 2006 - The dealers |
|
Land Rover came 19th out of 33 dealerships - with an overall rating of 79% - down 2 places from 2005 !!
The comments in Auto Express were as follows:
Quote:The rejuvenation of Land Rover's model range is nearly complete, and the only weak link is the ageing Freelander. A replacement is imminent - but what the cutting edge line-up reallly needs is a class-leading national dealer network. You tell us that keeping your off-roader's logbook full of franchise stamps is a costly business, and more than half of LR owners reckon they are are being short changed. Ironically, given the brand's reputation for mud-pugging performance, Land Rover's best rating was achieved in the cleanliness and atmosphere category. However, the overall score is dragged down by poor communication
A sub-quote from an owner said:
Quote:They're good at routine stuff like servicing, but dealers are unable to resolve the niggly problems you get with the Discovery - trim rattles, temperamental electrics, warning lights coming on etc
The overall 'value for money' stats were 49.22% saying good - 50.78% saying bad !
Ring any bells anyone ?? 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
