Wet Dog Smell
My car smells like a wet dog and has done for the last few days. Not had a wet dog in the car so cant work out why this is. Any ideas In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

what? a dog going dogging I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Get a can of air conditioning system cleaner. It could be the mould in the air ducts, you can buy a can from Hafords which you set off and put on the floor. From memory you set the fan to max I think with recirculation on and leave it with the engine runinng for a few minutes while it goes through the system.
EDIT: This is what I used on our other car, which had the horrible smell

Are you sure it's nothing on the outside underside.
Think it was Disco Dad who ran over a load of cowsh!t once and that stunk his interiror out for ages until he discovered what it was .... [or something like that]....... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Have you checked for wet carpets in the footwells?
Not had a wet dog in the car so cant work out why this is. Any ideas
Ah, but have you had a dry dog in the car, then got the inside of the car wet?
I paid a small fortune this week to have the stench of labrador rolled in badger poo removed from mine
Obviously I didn't have a labrador covered in badger poo in the car, that would be silly. But I did have a labrador in there at one point, then later on put up a sign saying "badger toilet".
What? I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
