One question I haven't got to the bottom of yet (probably because I keep forgetting to ask Embarassed) is this: does the tow-assist work with just the rear view camera, or do you have to have the Surround Camera System?
LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

I really don't understand why LR doesn't include the target and the instructions to place it when a car is purchased with Surround Camera System... Confused

Hi
I have posted .PDF & .Doc files in my gallery for the target and set-up instructions.
The manual states that this should be a self adhesive target that you you apply to the trailer so it does seem odd that there appears to be no "ready made" ones available. Like you, I expect that for a £900 option on a £50k car, LR or the dealers might actually supply what you need to make it work. Evil or Very Mad

What about the Hitch-assist, does that also only work with SCS?

Yes, but the reversing camera works perfectly for hitching up, as you can see the towball.
