I've ruddywell gone and ordered one....
Well today at Barretts in Ashford I ordered the car I have been promising myself for years! I've gone for a 3.0 GS with leather and heated seats. Colour is going to be Galway green and interior black leather. I can't wait. I'm getting a call on Monday to tell me approx delivery time but I'm expecting it to be Feb/March. Looking forward to ditching the Navara.
I find I want to run around shouting like a schoolboy I'm so excited!
Cheers
Andrew

would appear that D3 permagrin applies equally well to the D4 Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

I was advised that the best interior colour would be almond. Black leather will be infinitely more practical for me and I am really looking forward to running a car without having to use seat covers!
I'm still excited, remember when you were a kid how you used to put your most treasured possession next to your bed so it was the first thing you saw when you woke up? I've been told that's not going to happen in our house unless I sleep in the garage. (I do have the order form there tucked under the Clive Cussler)

Ignore the advice, it is a matter of personal taste. The black interior on mine looks perfect.

Only a couple of things that I'm unsure about; Firstly, the display above the radio, in all the GSs I've looked at does not quite seem to sit straight? It might be an optical illusion caused by all the trim lines that converge on the screen but it looks like the pixels in the screen don't sit vertically. Secondly, the Bluetooth does not work if the radio is off. What is that all about?
Still, I dare say I can put up with that!
