any thoughts.

Heading towards the 1st winter with my D3, and looking to change 2 tyres across an axle. I have been offered Generals at £103 per corner. Just looking for thoughts and suggestions. The vehicle in the main is used on road, it is fitted with 17" alloys (I am not as rich as some of you guys with big rims). Any help appreciated.

Regards

Would have thought if changing to AT type tyres you'd need to change all 4. Also beware of too good a price, check weight rating (111 and above) and correct size. Site sponsor AJS4x4 or member Ken would give you a good price for correct rubber. I use 17" Contis up here in the Highlands and have had no problems, even in deep snow (went on a SLROC green road trip up above the snow line).
