Asked about any discount today on a D4 XS at LR dealer and I was told that none are available sir, there's a 3 month lead you know! And also said that the 0% deal was only available with list price. I find this really hard to believe but thought I would bite my tongue and arm myself with the facts before doing battle! Anyone else had this?

I was in Stratstone Gloucester today, chatted to a sales guy and was told that all D4 allocation was sold up to February. But he also said that it was more to do with lack of supply than amount of demand. Lloyd "Phat Face"

Thanks all, I was sure it was all (''). I wish they wouldn't do it, but that's the game I guess. There wasn't much salesmanship going on - " of course, there'll be another £1000 of VAT on anything we order now" was another memorable sales pitch! I think I need to try another dealer...

I was speaking to the principal at my local LR dealer (he is responsible for 3 dealerships) this afternoon. Basically, there are hardly any new D4's or RRS left in the country. If I placed my order today, delivery will be in Feb. Given the demand is exceeding supply, they do not need to give discounts. That said, they have offered me (as a loyal customer) a reasonable discount and I can still opt for the 0% finance deal if it's still offered in the new year. Current:
2014 RRS 3.0 HSE
Porsche 997 GT3
BMW 118d SE
Past:
D4 HSE 3.0 TDV6 Auto
D3 HSE 2.7 TDV6 Auto

Same here - it's just down to the dealers wanting to get their pound of flesh, try another dealer is my advise LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Hi,
I'm a newbie to the site. Factory order placed early October, picked up my D4 XS last week. In addition to my part-ex I also got a cash discount all on the 0% deal. All-in-all a good deal and very happy with dealer.

You talk about discount for cash deals and discount off extras.....but what sort of discount are you talking??
Where can you see the full list prices of the XS and extras?

Questions, questions.....
As you've already ordered the XS, it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect that you knew the prices. However, if you don't, then take a look at the LR website. The price lists are published there.
As to discounts, cannot speak for others, but I achieved a double digit discount.....[/url]
