lr3 remote starter

Hello Mates.

Sweetie pie wants remote start for the '07 LR3 HSE. Any insight to this addition? Further info, I am way across in the US.

Lemme get this straight...

You want the LR3's engine to start from the house?
I'd be interested too, but as I can't even lock the car with the key in, I'd say this is a no-go.

Regarding the remote starting the insurance companies dont like it as it invalidates there policy as it overrides the insurance approved alarm system. There is a few systems on the market that would do the trick but whether it would work on a MOST system car I do not know

Lot more difficult nowadays ..iv had a few in my time .

The problem is with transponders , immobilisers etc

Used to able to get away with it with a spare key strapped up near the ingnition barrel ..but not reccomended . G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
