Hi all,
I'm new to the D3 V8 onwers club and need some help.
If you park the car up in netural and very slowly rev the engine from 1000 to 2000 RPM do you get a rumbling and a harmonic vibration through the car?
It vanishes at 2000+
It sounds and feels like something is out off balance or on its way out in the engine.
Is this normal? I'm use to a TDV6

I can't check at the moment as I am not near the car, but it is certainly not something I can recall - in fact between 1 & 2k the engine is virtually silent when moving, all noise is drowned by the MTR's and the wind noise on the rack. Craig

Mine occasionally (every few months) will suffer the same symptoms during warm up (below 1000 rpm). Only lasts for 15 seconds or so. Never in drive or above 1000 rpm does this happen, only on initial start and warm up. 16 D4 Landmark
