Anyone buying the 2.7 D4?
Wondered if anyone knows how the 2.7 is selling next to its brother the 3.0? It didn't really make very much sense to me, given that most people I presume would spend the extra couple of grand and get the new engine - but perhaps I'm missing something...

The 2.7 can fit 17 inch wheels and a second battery. Much cheaper and doesn't have the initial problems the 3.0 L is having. And much cheaper.
I would concider one if I was looking.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

And the 2.7 remapped has about the same bhp as the 3.0.

If you are looking to offload the 17"ers on it (if Contis) could be interested........
Thought about a D4 manual which would have had a 2.7, but it didn't make much sense to me. Went for an end of line D3 instead. V happy with my choice.

FIL's mate just bought the 1.7 D4, said the extra money for the 3.0 was madness when you could remap a 2.7 and not have any of the issues, and save a load of cash..one wife.......livid

depends if you are concerned about resale or not - I wonder how much less the poverty spec d4 will be worth compared to one with the 3.0?2014 D4 XS

Do you know what spec (manual or auto) etc... Either way sounds like a great price compared to a D4 commercial and is probably more reliable from what has been mentioned previously.
Could be interested.
Thanks
