I just received a new Discovery 4 Driving Lamp Kit including all wiring and two lamps - got it off eBay from £90
Anyways, I was mainly interested in the wiring kit having seen the quality of the Disco3 ones. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I got them.
Initial impression was that they are quite heavy and solid, then when I took the covers off I found that they a PIAA lamps
I suppose only time will tell how they will perform, but certainly first impressions are positive - with one exception, they lenses aren't clear to match the headlamps Will add some pictures later.
Oh one thing to remember, the driving lamp kit does not include any of the fitting brackets for either bumper or A-Bar mounting - and they ain't cheap!!
Edited: See my post from 19:58 on the 01-02-2010 below where I say why, if you have Xenon's I wouldn't recommend the LR OEM lights.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Having gone through the destructions last night I decided as it's a brandnew car and looked more work than on the D3 I'm getting the stealers to fit it before I collect the motor
I forgot to photograph the lights/kit before I sent them. Sorry.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Nice lamps, but cannot agree with the white covers........wont they lower the appearence of the D4?
I got some D2 Leather covers for mine of TLO, seem to suit the D3 in the A Bar

why do they supply these covers? Never understood the sense of it.Some people get by
With a little understanding
Some people get by
With a whole lot more
I dont know
Why you gotta be so undemanding
For those of us in a windy & sand blown country (but nicely warm ), covers are important. Not having covers on lights (including head lamps) means that after about 2 years the lights take on a dim translucent look. My dealer's told me that they don't yet have plastic headlamp covers for the D4 (is this true?) which means a set of D3 covers and duct tape will have to do the job for the time being. If the lights are installed on the top sand-blasting isn't a problem.Jim Dowell - D4 HSE TDi, 12,000 hydraulic winch & hidden winch mount, MTRs, TyreDog, Traxide 2 x aux battery system, fixed air compressor, Dolium roof rack, MitchHitch.

Just a little tip, covers help the stone chip protection in the summer months, but also
YOU WILL PASS A MOT IF YOU WIRED THEM IN THE NAUGHTY WAY
Before you ask, my D2 was wired that way, but not the D3
