Just a quick one.
Wanted to say thanks to Ken for the MTR's and RLD for the A Bar brackets that Ken also delivered to the SE meet last night.
MTR's are on, Kwik Fit only charged £28 to fit and balance them and dispose of the old ones, which I thought was a very good price!
I'm going to have a go with the A bar bracket later, but having "offered it up" it looks spot and and a pukka well made bit of kit.
Thanks Ray and Ken D3 HSE MY05 Auto

Yep 4 tyres. They were going to do the tracking as well but couldn't get it to sit level on the 19" rim, so I think they gave me a bit of discount.
So very happy as I had, had one quote of £100 D3 HSE MY05 Auto

I must admit I wasn't expecting Kwik Fit to be able to do it and be the cheapest. They were the cheapest before they realised about the tracking and gave me a better price. I was very pleased. Good bunch of guys as well. D3 HSE MY05 Auto

I am a big fan of e-tyres (who come to your house/work etc).
Charged me £30 for 4 cornerings incl. balancing and disposal which I thought was worth not having to sit in a cold garage with other folk.

I was given the nitrogen option but when I said I let the air out quite often they thought I was a bit mad! I explained about sand etc.

Also with regards to Nitrogen filling, surely my tures are about 78% nitrogen anyway? Air is made up primarily of Nitrogen so for nothing extra I get 78% nitrogen fill - that's got to be a bargin! D3 HSE MY05 Auto

The reason for filling nitrogen is the molecules are larger therefore the tyres will lose pressure less easily I suppose out of the 78% nitrogen, some molecule will be sucked into the hole where the tyre is leaking, blocking it right away.
Also it would stay cooler diminishing tyre wear when 30 deg outside, the nitro will remain sub 30??? Come on!
Load of they are just getting money out of your pocket.
