Anyone driven in Europe with RHD
Hi ALL
Ordering my D4 on Tuesday
I have a question. When driving a RHD D4 n France will the steering pull to the right ?. I I ask because my Lexus RX400h did which is why I sold it.
I have had 5 RR's before and they were OK in France, hoping the D4 is the same.

I can't imagine why any car should pull to the right in France any more than it might pull to the left over here, given that they may have a very slight tendency to follow the camber on the road.
I've driven plenty of UK cars around Europe over the last few years and never really noticed them pulling either way.Clive

I must say I have found my steering pulling very sharply to the right when in France especially when I forget and am driving on the left with a fecking big lorry coming at me
pull to right or left it goes just where you steer !BREXIT - done properly.

Did 3100 miles in my D3 just before christmas, france, germany & cezh republic in 6 days, she went like a train, no pulling either way, slightly hairy experience meeting some idiot coming the wrong way down the motorway near Nurenburg ! Love landrovers despite all the've thrown at me !

Drove to Bulgaria twice last year in my D3 and no problems with car pulling ..G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
Tho my RRS is LHD I have no problems with it when I'm back in the UK, dosn't pull either way. My MG is RHD and I dont have any problems with it pulling to either side either here or in the UK.

Have driven to Gemany/ Munich no problems just don't forget about tinting your lights and its also compulsory to have a first aid box a set of bulbs and fuses ect and recently also introduce the use of high vis jackets when driving in Europe. The Facist cops overthere will recognise your number plate is from the uk and will puposely stop you if your unluky and will check whether you haave the kit above, otherwise on the spot fine.

When you say Europe, I guess you mean Continental Europe?
Just as a reminder the UK is part of Europe, geographically for sure, if not politically....
Well, my D3 is certianly pulling to the right, but so is my Mercedes.The older I get, the better I was.

Thanks for the replies guys and yes when I say Europe I mean France Italy Spain and the like.
Feeling better ordering the D4 now as my first 5 RR's were on beam axels and not the modem independent suspension so I don’t know how they behave.
I go twice a year for 8 weeks at a time doing 3000 miles a go so I did not want to have to keep a slight left lock on all the time on them long streight roads, with the caravan on the back its can be a long job at 100KPH.

Must be a German (or Berlin) thing as it is not the case in France, Portugal or Spain. But franckly, I doubt it very much.The older I get, the better I was.

Went on the Land Rover Experience course yesterday afternoon and the instructor tows his caravan with his D3 in France a lot and reports no problems.
Good to know and makes me feel better. Just cant wait for the car to be built now
