Got a lift in a D4 today...... |
|
I dropped Betsy, my Series 2a off at Guy Salmon in Stockport today. They have very kindly agreed to be a sponsor on our upcoming Macmillan 4x4 Challenge event. As part of the deal, they are going to sticker her up, and use her for some local and national Land Rover press coverage. She will be in their possession for a few days, so If you are at the dealership, keep an eye out for her.
Oh, and by the way, I got a lifty home in a D4 8) Still prefer my 3 though...

Liked:
Engine is quieter
Quicker acceleration
Not like:
Choppy ride
Less storage space inside
No armrest.
But to be honest, I am nit picking. It was a GS so not high spec, and no sat nav. The gap for the touch screen has a simple lcd display for the radio. If I had to have a new car, I would have one.

They took the shelf behind the sat nav screen away, that was a perfect place to put a phone or camera. Now its a shiny piece of plastic.
There are a few small oddment trays in the centre console, but they seemed very small. The shelf between the glove box remains, but its the only flat area left to put things.
Now, I had better put that fine tooth comb away
