295/45/20 General Grabber UHP's Nightowl
And they're great, now done 10k miles on them and they still have 50% tread left.
Update on the rear kit, for those who've pm'd me regarding fitting etc, my mod has finally failed, a long 300 mile round trip at the weekend resulted in the trim getting so hot it's melted the bolt locators that hold the fake exhaust
trims on.
I stress do not route the exhaust gasses through those fake exits... divert them down as per LR intructions I have a local exhaust centrer who have offered to 90 degree mandrel bend a 54mm tube for each side, once these are fitted I'll re-fit the trim. 57 RRS TDV8

Totally agree with you AWDman
Here's a post I made [a few weeks ago on another thread] after trying another type of mod.
My advice - don't skimp, get the proper LR kit fitted!

Do Not Run and Undertray Kit Without an Exhaust Mod !!!
I did apply another type of modification, but it didn't work and I had started to get some damage.
[Magnashield Heat Tape - I lined the undertray & bumper - but no difference]
Firstly, the corners of the undertray were coming away a little.
On inspection the foam adhesive strip had frazzled and a gap was appearing.
To inspect further, I attempted to take off the removable panel, but it wouldn't release from the studs.
Eventually I had to yank it and found the tips of most of the stud had melted and therefore wouldn't easily release from the locating points.
In fact one of the stud locating points has snapped off due to this.
When the cover was eventually removed there was thick soot all over the panel and on the towbar electrics.
I've also just realised that my now intermittently working rear parking sensors will be because of heat damage.
I'll need to remove the rear bumper to inspect before seeing if it's the wiring and/or sensors that have melted.
Thankfully though I've just been towing and those electrics were working ok, but I'll need to check out the condition of the loom when the bumper is off.
So extra parts will no doubt be needed and fitted as required.
Needless to say I learnt my lesson and purchased the proper exhaust kit from TLO and had that fitted at my local garage and I now have no heat issues. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

eeek didn't spot that post Ron...
It's been ok (and the right hand side was still fine).. It's the left hand exhaust that has caused all the damage... either my routing is better on the right hand side, or the flow of the exhaust favours the left exit...
Anyway... will take the kit to my local bodyshop and see if they can fix the stainless steel exhaust trim back in situ, then I'll look at the LR exhaust kit... flipping expensive though!!
She looks naked without the trim on... 57 RRS TDV8

Looks very good indeed. I wanted to have a look at a silver D3 with this kit fitted. Anyone know if it still available?
cheers Alex

Swansea Dealership still have a few Java Black kits available. (Advertise on Ebay)
Re-spraying them isn't an issue, mine was a stonaway grey kit that cost me circa £140 to have it professionally done (cannot remember exact figure now). 57 RRS TDV8

I really love the look of this kit, and have almost convinced SWMBO to let me get one....the only issue is I have a fixed towbar, so looking at the rear undertray, I assume I would need to leave the centre section between the exhausts off which ruins the whole effect.
Anyone have a pic of the kit minus the centre part...or has anyone fitted this to a D3/fixed towbar and have a pic of it on the car?
Cheers, Scott

The kit and a fix towbar do not mix Scott.
You'd have to do some serious trimming and slicing!
And you're right, with the centre section removed the whole effect just looks weird.

Thanks for the reply, I thought it was a no-go with a fixed towpack . I like having the rear end protection of the fixed item although it may be worth switching to a detachable for some styling bling 8)
