Check it's not just dropped down into the bottom of that storage area, or in the ashtray. Peeps keep them in weird places. I don't know if they do but it might be on file with the original supplying dealer, they might be able to tell you.

Hi
I have had the foam jack holder out to have a good feel around the area no sign of it. All the tools except the jack are missing.
Should it be in with the other tools?
Thanks for the quick reply

A lot of indies carry the full set and an LR specialist may be closer.
Oh and when you get the lockers off, buy four regular nuts and bin the lockers!Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Not heard of an Indie in Fort Billy part of the world, s'pose nearest would be The Big Smoke of Inverness. Passing that way next again w/end but no idea where my key is as long ago replaced with standard nuts.

Hi
Used to be an an Indie here but it really was a Series/Defender type place but its closed now anyway.
My nearest Dealer is McCrae & Dick Inverness. (130 round trip)
There are Indie's in Oban and Lix Toll. (100/120 round trip)
Yes I intend to get rid of the locking wheel nuts but I have to get them off first!
Cheers

I second or is it third option... Ditch em and get normal nuts...they're a b*stard to get off when they fail...If it ain't broke... Take it apart anyway, how else you gonna find out how it works

If you've got the original audio security label, it identifies the locker code too. I think mine is an E. Maybe we should get a set together for members use...Club missing my D3

There are a couple of Disco3 owners I know who I am going to ask if I can try theirs. Even if they don't fit it will be 2 off the list.
Does anybody know how many there are in a set? I think its A to N but I am not certain.
Yes a set for members to hire would be a great idea.
I have been driving around for 18 months in blissful ignorance - two trips to southern Spain included. Now I know I don't have the tool to change a wheel I am worried to go anywhere!
Cheers

Just been checking the codes go from A to W (I think) with no I, O or Q codes. That's 20. Cheapest I can see them is £8.95. That's just over £180 a set with carriage.
Elsewhere I see people mentioning £3 each. Any ideas where? At £60 buying a set its cheaper than going to my nearest dealer.
Cheers

Hi djcleckie
Don't know were to get for £3 but is it worth buying 10? 50/50 chances of getting it right you might even feel luckier and get 5!
Good Luck

but I think 26mm is just a shade too small for a Disco3 as a 26mm socket will not fit even with a hammer.
Any thoughs?

Will have a look to see if I've got any keys kicking around. I'm passing through Fort William this Friday, prob late morning, and can see if any fit. Assuming I find the keys as took the lockers off years ago.
