As soon as I saw this, shot out and did the 9x. Peace at last. Thanks!! Now if the awful pinging key in ignition can be disabled!!! It's so American! Some years ago I was in Virginia Beach in some dreadful convertible armchair and suddenly a voice piped up : "y'all have low voltage"... the guy I was with immediatley drove round the block into a kwikfit lookalike, got a new alternator stuffed in within 30 mins, and drove back out again! Y'all got sorted now...y'all have a nice day....Ok let's switch the damn things on again!! Missin you already.

Seat belt
Thankyou Lord and all those that are knowledgable.. getting rid of that noise both belts both sides... no longer will my fish and chips ask to be belted in!! My dad will no longer go nice car but this damn belt!!
Please now someone help with the key in the ignition, how can I turn off the engine sneak up on foxes with that blody bonging noise.. 1 out of2 aint bad.

hi,i asked this question on pistonheads forum.apparently this can be switched off using testbook or autologic.supplying dealers are supposed to set this on or off when they pdi the vehicle according to customer preference so hopefully turning it off will be free!
