Warranty direct are doing cover for ~£550 for 13 months. Do the "quote me" thing online, will come up with about £1000, wait few days and they will call you. And half it. Search Ins section to see what you can get for how much.

Have these set up for when my 2 Tesco warranties run out. If you continue straight from a warranty then the sales dude told me you skip the 90 days wait for wear & tear cover. U can get better than I got, SWMBO says I'm useless at haggling!

I spoke to the chaps at Green Oval (Local LR Specialist) about this very topic. They told me to not bother with 3rd party warranties as in their experience they rarely payout and they spend hours and hours (at customers expense) on the phone managing the claim process. In there view, I am better to put the warranty fees in a separate account and use that fund towards any repairs.Current:
2014 RRS 3.0 HSE
Porsche 997 GT3
BMW 118d SE
Past:
D4 HSE 3.0 TDV6 Auto
D3 HSE 2.7 TDV6 Auto

Glad I didn't waste my time asking them about aftermarket warranties before I bought 2 Tesco warranties, I'd be a good few thousand pounds poorer! It's a case of finding a dealer/indi that doesn't automatically say "waste of time", actually saying "if you want me to do anything on your car I can't be arsed dealing with anyone new".

They seem to be stacking up as the alternative to Tesco. Sell your WD shares now!!!
