Just had my first service completed at Lookers (Charles Hurst) which a year ago when I bought the car was undergoing a major refit. Chilly showroom, staff wearing coats, workshop heater in the corner and outside toilets!
Now first rate, really nice showroom very helpful staff. Price was very good and loan car was free. Car returned with recall work and a little bit of warranty work done.
Car was also washed and returned without any damage, marks or oily finger marks.
First class....thanks.

When you say re-fit is that the new 21st century LR livery ?
all LR dealers (if they want to continue the franchise) have a time table of April/May next year to refit the showrooms
we have to spend £200k on new works wit our 3 franchises otherwise no LRX as it's part of the deal TLO has left the building.......
I no longer work for a Landrover Dealer

Not sure what the new livery should be as I daren't wander into too many LR dealers, tends to cost me money!
But it looked very smart and welcoming with enough cars, coffee, mags and a TV to while away a little while if needed
I guess all dealers now charge for a loan car at about £15 a day so that in itself saved £30 plus the Freelander loan car was spotless, better than the 2 door 10bhp japanese thing I had from another dealer during some warranty work.

Jim - Many thanks for the feedback and it was really good to see you again. Glad you liked the new facility. Can you imagine how cold it would have been if the revamp took place this winter...... brrrrrrrrr!
Nick - Yes it is the 21st CLR, which was completed last March (just!) We still need to complete the outside but are already getting close to seven figures! We're a JLR dealership so we also had to satisfy the Jaguar requirements which is even more 'exacting' than LR. There was quite a big investment behind the scenes (such as Air-Conditioning), which made it much more pleasent in the summer. 8)
DG - You should have popped in to say hello! We get a lot of wrapped vehicles on site, but I missed the Cayenne. I am looking at a FFRR wrapped in stealth black (Revere) at the moment from my office. Not sure if it's everyone's cup of tea.......... not mine!

The 'Wrapped Rappers Cayenne' has migrated South from Lookers Park Lane to Lookers Battersea - maybe more of a market for it in that neck of the woods. I ran past it yesterday morning. It looked odd sandwiched between a (long) row of RRS. PAGODA

Sounds like DG passed Battersea as opposed to Park Royal! I am a little fussy with regards to my stock.... it either needs to have a green oval or a leaper!

As you know, I am aware of what happened when your car was in. You may be interested to know that we have a new Service Manager, Matthew Green who would be happy to look after you if you ever gave us a 2nd chance.
We're not all takers, as i would like to think that I looked after your correspondances well?
