I have to admit the picture is photshopped a bit - but not a lot.....
Never had any problems with water when wading - thats what they are built for.

Sorry if this is a silly question, but doesn't the interior fill with water when wading at window depth? Only ask as during ventures in early Range Rovers and 90's I always found it to be as wet and deep on the inside as the outside but can't imagine people are happy to trsh D3's like this just yet.
So how many D3's have failed due to water............
the last one belonged to crwoody...Ian62's interior took a battering at Mamut Park including some of his electronics (they did dry out in the end...)
Overall though there hasn't been that many reported on here. But during the time I've been on here a lot of people have said the same thing - don't get the electronics wet in the bulkhead, especially behind the battery. Thats the advice I've (tried... ) to keep to The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Water will get in through the front vent between bonnet/windscreen, if it comes over the bonnet for any length of time - but you shouldn't go that deep. Duncan's picture is photo-shopped.Disco 5 HSE Lux
