had a search for this but nothing specific, apologies if i have repeated an often asked Q ?
08 HSE wheel feels like bostik been spread on parts. clearly leather delaminating in some way, and its at 10 to 2, not where i would hold the wheel in the disco driving position. 30k miles and i`ve had since 5k, dont even wear jewellery so its not been caught on a ring etc,
at service today stealer said that LR wouldn`t treat as warranty item.......had i got diesel on it after fill up !!
yeh i always get covered in the stuff and get in the car !?
about to write to LR direct but any views on here first ?? TDV6 HSE 2008.....as kindly specced right up by LR as demo ! fridge....yeh why not ?

lookers Chelmsford,,,,,,, they should know better....if they check group records they will see a free xc90 key came my way after i droppped the chairman a letter `coupla years ago............ spent more time today asking me to fill in the customer happiness form ! TDV6 HSE 2008.....as kindly specced right up by LR as demo ! fridge....yeh why not ?

it's a well known issue. They should definately sort it out. Plenty of people on here have had it replaced under warranty. Kick up a fuss about it. D3 HSE MY05 Auto

If the car is out of warranty do you think I'd still be able get my wheel changed if it was a known fault? Or do you think that's pushing my luck? Could I argue it? Current: D3 commercial
Past: but not forgotten D3 HSE x2, 5 TD5 disco2's, 1 200tdi disco1, 2 300tdi disco1 one of which was a commercial, Off roader with a rather large spec, ARB's and big travel suspension to name a few.

Have to agree with Neil (as much as I don't like to  ) No chance of getting it swapped out after 5 years.

seen that thread and I know i won't get anywhere with the dealer. but gonna give it a go for a laugh. I saw them smooth leather wheels for sale on te bay but never got round to getting one. the price at one point was just over 100 quid now because demand has increased they have gone to nearly 200, so the group but is great at 120.
