I did ages ago Whistle

Only recently uploaded some winter pics and it kept doing the same thing again. Eventually worked though.

This is a really dumb question, but how do you all magically wipe out the numberplates on your photos? Do you photoshop them? Question

Well, JF Lux drives his car really hard through muddy puddles and it falls off, so no problems thereafter. Whistle

I edit the photo using iPhoto and use the blemish tool to wipe the plate clean. I guess that other photo library programs have a similar tool?

Technical question:

When I post a photo into a thread, I choose "BBCode Full Size", which allows people to click on the photo and see it full-size.

I've noticed that after a short while the images are adjusted to "BBCode" (i.e., normal size). Is the site doing this automatically or is a mod adjusting the posts? Is there a reason for it? Does it happen to anyone else?

Thanks,

NJF

They often get modded, fullsize can take ages for those on slow connections to download which is why the smaller size ones are the preferred option. we can mod a post quicker than waiting for the fullsize images to download, as the the display size of the fullsize ones is reduced to fit on the page anyway it seems a bit pointless using them unless you're desperate to show a large detailed image

Ady - this is now fixed, the gallery is using a newer more efficient resizing script (this was causing a lot of the blank screen problems).

This is probably because I am thick/luddite but I am trying to upload pics to my gallery and keep getting a message to try to upload one pic at a time and then 0 files uploaded Big Cry
Is it because @ 10 mega pix the file is too big and I should just crop it a bit Question

Why don't images seem to want to display anymore? They display if an older post has a pic in, but if I create a new post and have a pic in it, with the IMG wraparound, it no longer works. You just get the IMG and URL diaplaying.
