Caring for leather and interior |
|
I was offered alot of treatments and protections when i ordered my new car and believe most of them to be way to expensive and probably not worth it.
What is the best way to care for the leather in the Disco 4 especially the dash leather that will cop alot of sun and may fade/crack.
What do other people use and recommend?
Cheers

Thanks guys.
I will have a look at the local shop and see which ones are available.
Now it's time to wait till July until my new girl arrives. I hope it doesn't blow out into August

I use products from Chemical Guys, they smell and work nice and they keep going for a longer time than most other stuff I tried before... And I'm quite the OCD detailer... (GF goes nuts when she sees me walking up to my boxes with all the stuff... Here he goes for a couple of hours )
The products from Chemical Guys get the from me!
For the exterior as well, if you want some good advice on what to get, buy some Jetseal 109 and you'll never stop ing in the summer... Moves on and off with ease and it last for ages, never came across something so good and easy before... And if you want to take it all out like me, you should first use a washmitt + cirtuswash, then vertua bond and then Jetseal 109 and if your as nuts as me then some 50/50 wax to go over the top and have the nicest car wherever you park 2015 Discovery SDV6 HSE Fuji White with Black pack

I use Renapar Leather Balsam.
Its horse tack stuff.
Good to keep seats soft
As its meant for saddles etc it keeps water and mud at bay. Stops cracking.
It even hides small scratches after a few applicaitons. D4 HSE - Aintree Green
D4 Orkney my13 - gone
Stornaway D4. Gone, Didn't like it at all
D3 silver manual. Loved my first LR

I know something that, Block the sunlight. Whenever you are not driving, or your car is going to be in direct sunlight, place a sun blocker in your windshield.
