SWMBO could not open it anyway after locking it, as her smart key was inside the car?
Are you saying that if the car had been broken in to, the the would be Tea Leaf could not have used the key as the Disco recognised that her key was inside when externally locked and so disabled it? 2015 D4 HSE in Corris Grey

Not sure about that. What I was saying is that the system was smart enough to know that my key was outside so allowed me to lock the vehicle even though there was another key inside. Normally if the key is inside you cannot lock the vehicle.
I dare say that if some scrote had broken into the car and found her key our car would be history.
In my defence, at the time of the incident m'lud I did not know she had the other key in her handbag. She only remembered half-way through the gig but declined to tell me until she saw the car safe & sound in the car park! !
