Steering wheel off centre

My steering wheel is ever so slightly off centre and down on the right hand side when going straight ahead. Noticed it as I drove it home on first day and it's booked in to dealers next week. The car runs straight. Has anyone else had similar issue?

Sorry to hear that. Looks as though your steering wheel must have been fitted by Old Les. He's got a squint, which doesn't help the alignment process.

Like Winger said, its a wheel allingment thing.
If you are really bothered by it remove the steering wheel and move it one spline to the left.

Mine was realigned on Tuesday after they had previously done some work on the ball joints, fine now.

I had the same problem of Old Les. Had it fixed by Young Chris at Taunton. Thumbs Up

Old Les should be getting his redundancy any time soon - he's costing LR too much in wheel alignment. Laughing

Bill - how was your's sorted by Taunton, was it a four wheel alignment or moving the steering wheel?

Alignment - it was also pulling slightly to the left (in the same direction as the steering wheel was pointing) so it was out of line.

This has now been sorted at the dealers today - ten minute job in moving the wheel on spindle or spline whatever it's called.
