Ok let me start of with a complaint about 10forcash . He came, he serviced but sadly he found a few warranty issues. This meant I had to take the car to a 'real' garage. Despite previous experience, for convenience I decided to use my nearest garage, Stratstone Cardiff
When I rang to book they said it was only a small amount of work and that I could wait as they had no courtesy cars. They estimated I would have to wait 1 hours max.
Yesterday when they rang to confirm booking they said it would take 2 1/2 hours but I could have a courtesy car.
I left the car down at 9.30am and was told the car would be ready 4pm (2 1/2 hours?). I did ask if I could pick car up tomorrow morning so avoiding Friday night traffic I knew I would have to contend with picking the car up at 4pm on a Friday. I was told I couldn't. I rang at 2.30pm to check car would be ready at 4pm. I was told it would not be ready till 5pm . I vented my feelings on the phone.
I left home in p*ssing rain at 4.30pm looking at huge traffic jams the other side of the road, meaning a long journey home. Half way to garage they rang to ask if I wanted to pick it up Saturday morning instead. . I asked why they had told me at 9.30am I couldn't do this? No real answer.
To cap it all when I dropped the car off I had asked that sales value the car as I was interested in trading in for a Discovery 4. No shoite Sherlcok, guess what, sales hadn't valued the car.
Moral of the story if in Cardiff and 10forcash finds warranty work on your car, drive somewhere else don't endure the pain of Stratstone Cardiff.

Doleawg - I had heard a lot of negativity about the Cardiff Stratstone branch with similar stories to yours but the one in Swansea is in a different league to be fair to them and come with a very good reputation. I'm more than happy with the buying and after sales experience there.

The words Stratstone and poor workmanship keep reappears. it's as regular as my bowels, and produces the same result.

as a follow up to my story I was booking a LR experience early this week and I did mention my experience at Stratstone Cardiff to them. Within an hour the boss at Stratstone was on to me, he listened and was very apologetic, he did promise things will improve and I can't fault him for phoning however I won't hold my breath and I won't stop using 10forcash
