I wonder how much rear side space has been lost to plastic covers as a compromise to get the cover to fit 3 different positions.

Only thing about the brolley being stored on the cover (yes it fits it perfectly) is that it can/does slide as you go round corners.......just watch for the metal end marking the D post interior trim

Don't forget the space under the third row seats for storage too. Prob not big enough for full size laptop but big enough for handbags/cameras etc.As you slide down the banister of life

Lots of space under the second row with a 40/60 configuration (bottom part folds first, then seat backs). I have: fire extinguisher, tow strap, Land Rover gear tool box, own tool bag, collapsable shovel, BAS box.The older I get, the better I was.

Here is another option. Cargo net at a 45 degree angle and loadspace carrier pulled out to halfway.
It keeps small cargo from sliding around.

There are two cutouts in the plastic on the sides of the cargo area just below the catches for the loadspace cover.
I'm not sure what the cutouts are designed for, but the hooks from the net seem to attach securely.
