Another EGR question!
Just wondered whether people think doing the right thing. I've provisionally lined up someone to blank off both EGR valves on my 54 plate. I was told when I had the EPB adjusted some months ago that there was an EGR fault code showing. However, 3500 miles later, still nothing drastic happened and no black smoke. I believe the pick up below 1500 rpm is sluggish and starting on a hill when cold, needs gunning to get going. Performance above 1500 pretty normal. Do you think its premature to blank them off?

If pickup is sluggish then you may find the other EGR is showing signs of failing. Mine was fine with one faulty EGR but when the other one failed it was clenched cheeks at junctions

by the way, have L/H & R/H erg's for anyone. Ideal to fit the blanking kit to ahead of taking your own out, even have the boxes the new ones came in
