Hi guys, My first post here.
My dad just bought a Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 XS, Ipanema Sand with Almond/Arabica leather. He absolutely loves it and has wanted a Discovery for years.
However he's not much a forum person so I've come to try and solve a problem that the Land Rover dealer/direct don't seem to be able to fix.
The USB will work fine when plugged in once he is driving along however, once stopped and then started again, the USB stick is not recognised?
If he plugs it in once the car is started it recognises it straight away. Its just a bit of a pain that everytime he startes the car he has to remove the USB and then plug it back in again.
Hopefully someone will be able to help.
Thanks

Afraid I can't help - my USB does the same.
I guess it's either the USB itself or the type of data on the stick. I originaly had MP4a files and had to convert to MP3 to get them to play - still have the problem you described though 14 Disco 4 HSE

My 32gb memory stick did this occasionally when I first used it but it works fine now. It's as if the car has got used to it! Weird!
