Get my D4 next week and a colleague has offered me a D2 roof box (genuine LR OEM part) which he has in his garage for the last 5 years - only used once - but he doesnt have a Disco anymore.
Does anyone know if it would likely fit a D4? He's offered it to me if I want it... 747_JK

It will. The crossbars are slightly differently spaced, but all that is required is a minor alteration to the book mounting: drilling one hole to relocate each of the four fixing points.

No, it is very simple and a DIY job.

Perhaps for some - not for others! If I use a drill, the whole thing would break!
My limits with cars are diesel, washer fluid and air for the tyres. For everything else, it's far better to pay for some help than to break something and waste £££s. 747_JK
