| Ordered a D4 - now the long painful wait! |

well, took the plunge, ordered a D4 3.0l HSE (Stornoway grey with almond this time - guess I need a new user name !) with rear e-diff ofcourse  and a few other goodies. Now the long painful wait until early September..  .....sigh......oh well that gives me plenty of time to plan the (long) accessories list!   MY2010 D4 HSE 3.0, e-diff, 19inch MTR's; LLAMS Height adjustor, LR f & r light guards, LR side steps, LR bright finish side door mouldings; LR/Mantec G4 front bash plate, LR G4 Winch kit, Warn 9500lb Winch; GOE compressor guard, Uniden UHF, LR bright finish roof rails, LR G4 driving light kit, LR G4 ladder, 4 x extra rear compartment 12V sockets, Traxide dual battery system and Optima Yellowtop battery, ORS drawer system / fridge slide, LED rear compartment lighting.

wow that is a long wait.
Will you be keeping the D3 until then ?
I should be ready to buy by September.

I have been offered a car (to borrow) by my brother so hope to sell D3 in late July, then its a shorter wait until early September. It will be worth it tho'  D4 Alaska/Almond 2.7 TDV6 with E-diff & extra's..

The wait will be worth it. Ordered mine in Dec 09 (Alaskan White 3.0L HSE, with just about everything except the sunroof) and local stealer (ACT) confirmed delivery for ?early June. Now to find aftermarket accessories, side steps, snorkel, steel bull bar. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The wait is well woth it i have a puma 130 on order 3 month wait due to arrive 14 may only took a week to get the D4 though

is the e-diff you mentioned the "active rear locking differential"? what does this do?

Locks the rear diff... more for those hard core stuff... but standard the diff will lock, but only when the computer wants it to.
